fun.stuff.friday… er, monday. fall… and being lazy on the couch.

fall is my favorite time of the year. why?:

its boots season. (i’m a sucker for an awesome pair of tall boots.)
i can wear 12 layers of clothing without looking like a nutso. (i do it the rest of the year still… its a small obsession.)
carmel apples. (this should be reason enough.)
the fact that i wear jeans year-round isn’t as apparent… (however,the fact i wear flip-flops the whole year gets called to attention.)
and my favorite shows come on again.

no more reruns. (although this year it also means no more michael scott.)

for whatever reason it is… my busiest time of the year EVERY year is september and october… and its not because i take family portraits for Christmas cards… i shoot weddings… but somehow, it always ends up being super crazy… so i am excited by new episodes of my favorite shows coming on… i don’t get much down time… so these half-hour shows are needed mini-vacations from the computer screen and cleaning and more of the computer screen.

shows i currently think are the bees knees:
1. parks and recreation… ron swanson is amazing. leslie knope is my hero.

2. the office… michael scott was the epitome of amazingness… but there is still plenty to love.

3. it’s always sunny in philadelphia… i think we might quote sunny more than anything else. i always horribly cackle when i watch it.

4. boardwalk empire… i switched steve buscemi from “creepy” to “awesome” because of this.

5. sons of anarchy… hellllllllllllllo, jax.

6. the big bang theory. geek love.

7. how i met your mother… legend…wait for it… dary.

8. project runway… i preferred it on bravo for the quality, but i still love it. its my one super girly obsession.

9. swamp people …seriously… yes. i know. don’t judge me.

10. family guy/ the cleveland show/ bob’s burgers …yes, i have the sense of humor of a 13 year old boy. i’m aware.

11. phineas and ferb …i realize its on the disney channel… (i could default it with my kids watch it… but that is mostly because i make them… because its hilarious.)

12. the entire bravo network reality lineup… esp. top chef. addicted. rachel zoe and the housewives and flipping out and all of them tend to leave me mindlessly watching for hours though.

13. up all night …it is new… and amazing.

14. the league … clearly, you’re getting the idea that I like to laugh. and it has jon lajoie… how can you go wrong?

15. breaking bad… i didn’t think i would like it… my husband loved it… and now i’m addicted.

and because i told you i would always leave you with a song… i wanted to leave you with a lonely island song… because i felt like that appropriately fit with the theme of this post… i like to laugh at really ridiculous things so here is one… although i can’t put the real one on here (although i don’t think 10 year olds are reading my blog)… so, enjoy the slightly less entertaining edited version…
