Meredith and Charlie were married in September at a beautiful church and then celebrated the night with a reception at the Virginia Beach Resort Hotel and Conference Center.
Unfortunately, Mother Nature got its way… and it rained on their beach-themed wedding… (which didn’t stop them from getting a bridal party photo outside— you’ll see- don’t worry.)
AND it didn’t stop us from going back another day and snapping a few photos on the beach just so they could have a few.
So, now for the backstory.
Meredith emailed me last year for information on my wedding pricing.
Typical… right?
Normally, yes… BUT my daughter had just started preschool. (I know… it still doesn’t make sense.) One of her teachers happened to have a daughter named Meredith… so when I got an email from a gal inquiring about my services with the same name of Maddie’s beloved teacher’s daughter… I asked. There cannot be THAT many of them in Virginia Beach.
Long story short- the world is small… and I got an awesome couple out of the deal.
And just to prove to you HOW awesome Meredith (well, and Charlie, too) is… she took bridal portraits in her Mom’s wedding dress.
Here are a few of my favorites… (Look for part of the dress during the wedding photos… hint- it’s one of the sleeves.)

Photography for waddling around and shooting with me one last time before your job description changes to “mom”.
