showit shootout. {virginia wedding photographer.}

So, my new website… which I am sure will be the subject of a few blog posts once it gets closer to being finished… is awesome.
It is being built by moi through a company called showit.
The awesome part about showit… besides being able to easily build really awesome websites on your own with no coding needed… is the community that comes along with it. Its pretty awesome to have an entire HUGE group of photographers working towards a common goal with no craziness involved. I haven’t been around long enough to talk it up all that much yet… but I got to join all the ladies in Hampton Roads for the February shootout… Decked out in Vintage goodness thanks to Melody and put together by Sarah, I brought some couples you make recognize (Thank you for coming out guys!) and we took a rainy day in Smithfield and shot our little patooties off.
As a testament to how awesome all of these ladies are… I got home a realized I only had fired off about 50 shots the entire shoot. (I spent the rest of it talking. No surprise if you actually know me!)
